In a statement released by the Coventry Building Society on the 2nd January they announced:

We’ve officially completed our purchase of The Co-operative Bank.

We’ve already got lots of exciting developments planned for the next year, and now, we’ve unlocked the potential to enhance this further for you and your clients, with great service continuing to be a priority.

For now, it’s business as usual
We’re still going to operate as Coventry for intermediaries and The Co-operative Bank for intermediaries for the time being. This means there will be no change to the way you use our services right now, so please continue to direct all enquiries relating to criteria, case submission and updates, registrations and procuration fee payments to your current contacts at Coventry for intermediaries (including Godiva Mortgages) and The Co-operative Bank.
